The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Antonio Armstrong.

Armstrong is wanted by the U.S. Marshals and the Willoughby Police Department for assaulting a Willoughby police officer before a pursuit began where he drove the wrong way on Interstate 90 Jan. 7.

Armstrong is believed to be hiding in the Collinwood area of Cleveland. He also had a previous address near the 16400 block of Braddock Avenue in Cleveland.

Armstrong is charged with felonious assault on a police officer.

It is alleged that, on Jan. 7, a Willoughby police officer attempted to stop Armstrong who had gone to the Motel 6 in Willoughby to meet a prostitute.

Armstrong drove away from police, nearly hitting an officer and intentionally ramming a police car. During the chase, he began driving the wrong way on I-90 and again struck a police car.

Armstrong crashed on East 185th Street in Cleveland and ran off on foot.

Armstrong was already wanted for a probation violation stemming from a kidnapping and previous police chase.

Armstrong, 27, is about 6 feet tall, weighing 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
