CLEVELAND -- Cleveland Police canvassed the west side searching for two suspects Wednesday night.

An intense police chase began shortly after 7:30 p.m. near West 140th Street and West Boulevard after police saw two men wanted on numerous felony warrants.

Vice Detectives attempted to stop the 2 men. They refused and the pursuit began.

The chase intensified when the suspects sideswiped a detective's car.

The suspects crashed their car near I-90 and West Boulevard into a wooden barricade and then continued running on foot.

Neighbors near the crash scene are speaking with police. One neighbor has surveillance cameras in their yard which police are viewing and another resident took a picture of the suspects.

One suspect was taken into custody as police continued searching for the second man, 21-year-old Patrick Terrell Carner, who they say is armed and dangerous.

Anyone with any information is urged to call Cleveland Police at 216.623.5218.
