Akron: Umbrella dispute leads to knife attack

AKRON -- A 52-year-old Akron man says he was cut with a knife during an argument over an umbrella he had borrowed from another man.

Around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Akron Police say they found the victim near Grace Park with several lacerations to his left arm and left leg.

He was taken to Akron City Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Keith Reed, 48, who police say is homeless, was found nearby. He is now in the Summit County Jail charged with felonious assault.
