Parma/Parma Hts: Multiple cars vandalized, two men arrested

PARMA -- Police in Parma and Parma Heights say dozens of cars were vandalized overnight near Pleasant Valley Road.

Police have arrested two men in connection with about. 15-20 vehicles that were damaged overnight.

One officer had seen the suspects' vehicle in the area of Pleasant Valley and Ann Arbor Drive at 3:26 a.m. Friday, stopped the vehicle and took two men into custody.

Police found damaged vehicles damaged on Pleasant Hill Drive, Ann Arbor Drive, Ronald Drive, Parma Park Boulevard, Oakwood and Maplewood.

In each case, the suspects either smashed out the front or rear window of the vehicles or broke off the side mirrors.

Arrested and in custody at the Parma Police Department, charged with criminal damaging, carrying a concealed weapon (knife), underage consumption, obstructign offical business and possession of criminal tools are Michael Harkolovich, 19, of Parma Hts. and Alex M Hilliard, 20, also of Parma Hts.

No damage estimate is known yet.
