Another Black Friday is in the books and 2012 is a record-breaking year for some retailers.

Walmart started their Black Friday deals at 8 p.m. Thursday and by noon Friday, the retailer announced they served 22 million customers already.

According to their numbers, they processed nearly 10 million register transactions, which is 5,000 items per second.

The holiday sales season just kicked off.

Saturday is Small Business Saturday.

American Express is giving $25 back to their customers who spend $25 at a small business tomorrow.

The National Retail Federation estimates 85 percent of online retailers will offer Cyber Monday discounts.
