MIAMISBURG, Ohio -- Ohio-based Evenflo is recalling thousands of high chairs because children can fall out of them.
The recall involves about 35,000 of Evenflo convertible high chairs that convert from high chair to toddler-sized table and chair.
The activity tray can unexpectedly detach and an unrestrained child can fall.
Evenflo has received 18 reports of trays detaching, including eight reports of children who fell, suffering bumps and bruises.
These high chairs were sold at Toys 'R' Us and Walmart nationwide. They were also sold online at walmart.com and wayfair.com. The chairs were sold from December 2011 until June 2012.
The convertible high chair can be identified by the model names and numbers listed on a label on the lower portion of one of the high chair's legs.
The models affected are:
• Dottie Lime: 29111259
• Dottie Rose: 29111271
• Marianna: 29111234
