SUMMIT COUNTY -- The Summit County Sheriff says two cousins have been arrested in connection with a string of car break-ins in the southern portion of the county.
In September, law enforcement agencies noted an increase in car break-ins at businesses on Arlington Road in Springfield, Coventry and Green.
A suspect was identified and on October 20 under surveillance investigators say the man was observed breaking into a Copley restaurant.
The man and his cousin, who was with him at the time, were placed under arrest. The two men face charges of theft and criminal damaging. Other charges are pending.
Deputies say the arrests clear 19 reports of vehicle break-ins in Green and Coventry. The investigation is ongoing.
