BROADVIEW HEIGHTS -- Police say they have now charged a Brooklyn Heights man in an April 23 accident on I-77 near state Route 82 where two people were killed.

Police charged Antony O'Neal Ford, 22, with aggravated vehiular homicide, aggravated vehicular assault, reckless operation of a vehicle and and two counts of driving with a suspended license.

He was in court Wednesday and bond was set at $25,000, which Ford posted.

Broadview Heights police said their reconstruction of what happened, physical evidence and witness statements determined that Ford would be charged.

The multiple-car accident resulted in the deaths of David Starr, 33, of Barberton, and Gail Bradley, 57, of Medina. Other drivers were also injured.

Police say Ford and Starr were both driving southbound on I-77 and Ford admitted to police that he was "swerving in and out of traffic due to admitted impatience," according to the newly released police report.

Ford struck Starr's vehicle first, setting off a chain of events where vehicles in both the southbound and northbound lanes were affected.

Ford made an initial court appearance on April 30.  The judge set bond at $25,000.
