AKRON -- Police say overnight guests stole $2,000 worth of household items and the homeowner's car when they left the next day.
Police have charged Jessica E Mulhollen, 21, of Akron, with auto theft and theft.
Police say Mulhollen and another man stayed the night at the victim's home and, between 1 a.m. and 8 a.m. the next day, took property from the victim's home and loaded it into the victim's vehicle and drove off.
First they sold some of the property to an unknown person. Then they drove to New Philadelphia, Ohio and sold more items to a Game Stop store.
Then they drove to Jamestown, N.C. where they were arrested by Guilford County Sheriff's deputies for receiving stolen property.
The total value of the items stolen is about $2,000.
