MEDINA -- Police have issued an arrest warrant for a California woman wanted in connection with an investigation into counterfeit money circulating in the Medina area.

Police are asking for the public's help in locating Brenda L. Duever, 36.

She is charged with forgery and police say she is considered a fugitive.

"A team of our detectives is actively working with Secret Service," said Chief Patrick Berarducci. We are not done. I feel pretty confident more arrests will follow."

On Tuesday, police along with Secret Service served a search warrant at a location on N. Broadway Street seeking evidence of counterfeiting. The evidence will be given to the Secret Service lab for examination.

Any person with information regarding Duever's location is urged to call Medina Police at 330.725.7777.
