COPLEY -- The body of a Copley Township homeowner has been discovered inside the man's burning Earhart Avenue home.
Firefighters arrived at the house just before 11:30 a.m. on Thursday and found the body of the 66-year-old homeowner in a first floor room.
Investigators determined that the man died of a single gunshot wound to the head and that the fire had been set on purpose.
Copley Police are investigating and say while foul play is not suspected it has not been ruled out.
Three firefighters were injured battling the fire. Their injuries were described as minor.
