GREEN -- For the 15th consecutive month, the Akron-Canton Airport is soaring into the record books.
CAK officials say June was their busiest month of all time as 168,935 passengers traveled to and from the airport.
That attendance flies over May's record-setting attendance by 10,000 passengers.
When compared to June of 2011, this June saw a 12 percent increase.
For the first six months this year, the Akron-Canton Airport has welcomed 874,270 travelers, a 12 percent improvement over 2011's first six months.
CAK was also ranked as the 11th most affordable airport in the U.S. and the top in the state of Ohio, according to a June 2012 study from CheapFlights.com for the third consecutive year.
