AKRON -- The Akron Police Department is using YouTube once again in hopes that the public can help them identify a wanted man.

Today they posted surveillance video (see below) from 10:34 a.m. on May 10 that shows an armed male robbing TNT Fashions at 887 E. Exchange Street.

The employees reported the suspect entered the store, pointed a gun at them and demanded money from the register and safe.

The suspect fled with an unreported amount of cash.

Akron Police describe him as follows: A male, around 21 years old, 6'0", 175 lbs., with a mustache. He was wearing a white print bandana over his face, black hooded sweatshirt with white stripes on the sleeves and white or light colored shorts.

Police warn that the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Akron Police.

Two recent videos Akron Police posted on YouTube resulted in arrests a short time later. One involved surveillance video of a fatal-stabbing suspect riding a bicycle and the other was footage of a woman being robbed at an ATM.
