CLEVELAND -- In a call to end violence on the streets of Cleveland, a volunteer group gathered Monday.

There were two homicides this past weekend.

Clergy and community activists took part and encouraged the community to come together and act. They are collecting petitions opposing House Bill 203, also known as the "Stand Your Ground Law."

"We don't want that law here. We don't want people to be able to go around and just by looking at somebody and identifying a myth about someone about selling drugs or is harmful to us," said Crystal Bryant, Take Back Our Streets volunteer. "Just being able to shoot down somebody -- we don't want that here out."

The group plans to bring the signed petitions against the "Stand Your Ground Law" to Columbus, on October 2.
