CLEVELAND -- Eight-term Cleveland Congressman Dennis Kucinich is facing his stiffest test to keep his job.
Redistricting has pitted Kucinich against veteran Toledo Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur. They are in the new 9th District that runs along Lake Erie's shoreline between Cleveland and Toledo.
They share many of the same positions as liberal Democrats.
But the district contains a bigger chunk of Kaptur's previous district than Kucinich's.
Kucinich is challenging Kaptur's support for military spending and campaign contributions from military contractors.
She claims her seniority and seat on the House Appropriations Committee have enabled her to deliver tangible results.
Kucinich is challenging one of her ads as "Swift-Boating" and misleading, in its claim that he voted against jobs, veterans and a senior prescription plans.
She was on a previous Between the Lines segment.
Tom Beres is joined by Democratic former Shaker Heights Mayor Judy Rawson and Republican former State Representative Matt Dolan questioning Kucinich about his reelection bid on this edition of Between the Lines.
