Michael D. Gabor is a co-defendant in the trial of former Cuyahoga County Commisioner Jimmy Dimora
Gabor, 52, of Parma, started working in the office of then-Cuyahoga County Auditor Frank Russo in 2005.
Gabor was paid about $40,000 annually but prosecutors say Gabor worked as little as 10 hours per week but spent much of his time running errands, driving public officials around, at pool parties or gambling trips.
Prosecutors allege he acted as a go-between or "bag man" for both Russo and Dimora for bribes that they received.
He has also been described as a close confidante and driver for Dimora, who was involved in several business deals with him, including a failed attempt to get a job with Green-Source Products, a company linked to former construction executive Steven Pumper.
