A state panel is "ordering" Cuyahoga County to re-hire two relatives of a former deputy auditor who admitted  running a bribery scheme with former Auditor Frank Russo.

The state says that Russo wrongly fired the relatives after Sandy Klimkowski agreed to testify against him.

Klimkowski's son-in-law, Raymond Rogers, told The Investigator, Tom Meyer, that Russo initially tried to force him to resign through intimidation.

The state has also ordered the county to pay Raymond Rogers for lost wages, which could be as much as $100,000.

The panel determined Rogers' wife, Lisa, isn't entitled to back pay, because she was on disability when fired.
