Reines was appointed auditor by the Cuyahoga County Commissioners Monday morning. At his swearing-in, Reines said he would do whatever was necessary to put the public trust back into the auditor's office.

Both Ramsey and Mohammad were longtime employees. Ramsey has been the office's spokesman and the most visible figure there since the FBI/IRS probe into Cuyahoga County corruption went public in July, 2008.

Mohammad tells Channel 3's Tom Meyer that he submitted his resignation to Reines on Monday. Ramsey could not be reached for comment.

Russo resigned Thursday and has been charged by federal prosecutors with 21 counts, including bribery, in federal court.

Reines is meeting with the auditor's office staff this morning.
