VAN WERT, Ohio -- Authorities say an Indiana woman was driving the van hit by a school bus in a northwest Ohio crash near the state line that sent 14 people to hospitals.
The State Highway Patrol says the Fort Wayne woman was turning left and didn't yield to the bus Tuesday afternoon south of Antwerp.
The bus was carrying students and faculty from Hicksville schools to a baseball game at a high school.
The van was bound for a track meet at nearby Antwerp High School.
The van driver and one of her passengers were flown to a Fort Wayne hospital.
Five more van passengers with minor injuries and seven injured students from the bus were taken to an Ohio hospital.
Information about their conditions wasn't available early Wednesday.
