OHIO CITY -- Channel 3 News is working hard to restore peace to a noisy Cleveland neighborhood and we're getting results.
The Investigator Tom Meyer broke the story Monday night at 11.
Neighbors said they felt like they were being deserted by Mayor Frank Jackson and their city councilman. Not any more.
City Councilman Joe Cimperman is said to be working behind the scenes to silence the big trucks that run their engines at all hours of the night and into the wee hours of the morning.
Channel 3 saw it happen firsthand in a neighborhood that has undergone a multi-million dollar makeover.
The excessive noise began about the time Five Star Meats rented space to other companies. Almost overnight, trucks began rolling in at all hours.
Cimperman didn't want to talk publicly but he promised he's working to bring all sides together to settle this mess once and for all. Neighbors say it's about time.
