CLEVELAND -- A lawsuit has been filed by a man who claims police used excessive force on him. It's a story first reported by The Investigator Tom Meyer.
The lawsuit has been filed in federal court against Cleveland police officers by Edward Henderson.
Henderson told The Investigator back in January that several officers beat him up after he was face down on the ground and handcuffed.
Henderson suffered fractures to his face, a detached retina and other injuries.
The alleged beating was recorded on video from a police helicopter but that tape has not been released to the public.
A federal grand jury is investigating the Henderson case as well.
