Former Cuyahoga County Auditor Frank Russo and County Commissioner Jimmy Dimora once again grabbed the headlines.

The Investigator broke the story about Russo having a change of heart and approaching federal prosecutors about his willingness to cooperate and testify against others in an attempt to shorten his 22-year sentence.

Other significant stories included the stories on alleged racism in Cleveland's downtown Warehouse District, human trafficking, sexual offenders in nursing homes, food safety violations at local grocery stores, and investigations on state boards and commissions that do little, if anything, for taxpayers.
