The MetroHealth Foundation receives nearly $3 million in gifts

CLEVELAND -- The MetroHealth Foundation has received nearly $3 million in gifts from its board members and the November family. These are among the largest gifts in the Foundation's history.  

Mort and Iris November and Larry and Linda November have donated $1.5 million to The MetroHealth Foundation. In honor of the family's $1.5 million donation, MetroHealth's newest site will be named the MetroHealth Middleburg Heights November Family Health Center.

The gift - which is the largest philanthropic commitment from the November family - was announced at The MetroHealth Foundation's Annual Meeting on Thursday, May 24.  

In addition, the Foundation's board of directors together has donated more than $1.3 million. This is also the largest combined gift the Foundation has ever received from its board of directors.  

The MetroHealth Foundation Board of Directors also selected its 2012-2013 slate of officers:  

  • David C. Jacobs was elected Chair. Mr. Jacobs has been an active member of The MetroHealth Foundation Board of Directors since 2005. He is President and Chief Operating Officer for Oswald Companies.  
  • Leslie D. Dunn was re-elected Vice Chair. Ms. Dunn is a community leader.  
  • Brian O'Neill was elected Vice Chair, Nominating and Board Development. Mr. O'Neill is partner at Tucker Ellis and West LLP.  
  • Timothy J. King was elected Treasurer and Vice Chair, Investment. Mr. King is partner at Interlachen Partners LLC.  
  • William L. Aamoth was re-elected Vice Chair, Finance. Mr. Aamoth is Vice President and Corporate Treasurer for STERIS Corporation.  
  • Robert A. DeAngelis was re-elected Vice Chair, Audit. Mr. DeAngelis is Executive Vice President, Enterprise Program Management at KeyBank.
