COLUMBUS -- The much-awaited school funding plan for Ohio is about to be unveiled.
On Thursday, Ohio Superintendents will get a preview of the plan in Columbus.
"I plan to be there," says John Kuhn, Midview Superintendent. The Midview Schools are facing a major deficit and cuts if a levy doesn't pass on Feb. 5.
But there is concern from Midview that voters will believe the Governor's plan is a cure-all for school funding, and it could doom the levy.
Midview has not passed a new school levy since 1993.
We don't know for sure what is in Governor Kasich's plan but it is likely to focus more dollars in the classroom, and give families more choice to move to charter, online and private schools.
