According to the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, here is is what voters stand to lose or gain pending the outcome of the vote on Issue 107:

Should Issue 107 be passed by voters:

It will attract, retain and develop excellent teachers.

It will replace failing schools with new, high quality schools.

It will increase graduation rates in every neighborhood.

It makes sure all graduates re ready for college, career and work.

It will will mean longer school days, more up to date books and technology.

Should ISSUE 107 fail, it will mean:

More cuts will lead to lay-offs of 500 more teachers.

More cuts will lead to sports, and after-school activities being eliminated.

More cuts will lead to shorter school days, students will be out earlier in the day.

More cuts will lead to bigger classrooms, less time for individual learning.

More cuts will mean arts, music, and other enrichment programs will not be available.
