CLEVELAND -- Police are investigating an incident in which a woman says she was kidnapped and robbed by two men impersonating police officers.

The incident happened this morning between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m.

The victim says she was driving hear East 123rd and Chesterfield when she observed a car behind her blinking its lights. Believing the vehicle to be a police cruiser, the woman pulled over and was approached by a man carrying a gold detective badge but wearing street clothes.

The man ordered her into the backseat of her own car where she was handcuffed. She says the suspect drove her around while the second suspect followed behind the car. Later the second suspect also climbed into the back seat of the victim's car.

The victim says she was dropped off near East 109th Street and the suspects took her car, cell phone and keys.

Police are searching for the two suspects as well as the victim's 2006 light blue Cadillac DTS. The suspects were driving an older model, beige two-toned, Lincoln Continental.
