LOUDONVILLE, Ohio -- A 38-year-old woman was killed in a one-car crash in Ashland County Tuesday night, highway patrol says.
Jacqueline M. Williams, of Loudonville, was headed north on S.R. 3 in Loudonville, just after 8 p.m., when she went off the right side of the road, overcorrected when trying to get back onto the road, losing control of her pickup truck.
The truck rolled over multiple times before landing right-side-up. Williams was thrown from the vehicle during the crash.
She was not wearing a seatbelt during the crash.
Williams was pronounced dead at the scene by the Ashland County Coroner.
The road was closed near milemarker 5 until about 11:30 p.m.
Highway patrol troopers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. It is the sixth fatal crash in Ashland County this year, troopers said.
