MANSFIELD -- If the Ohio State Reformatory's haunted history and ominously eerie exterior isn't scary enough, the location is luring guests there with a "Psycho" twist this weekend.

On Saturday (March 23), the prison is unleashing a double dose of fright to anybody who is brave enough to wander the stony structure on a self-guided flashlight tour of the freaky facility before gathering together for a scream-inducing screening of Alfred Hitchcock's 1960 black-and-white classic "Psycho."

The self-guided tour ($5, bring your own flashlight) lasts from 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. The "Psycho" movie ($2) begins at 8 p.m.

All tickets must be purchased at the door; none will be sold in advance.

Guests must be 18 years old to enter the movie, or 13 with an accompanying parent or guardian.

Popcorn and refreshments will be available.

This is just one of many spooky events held at the prison because the monstrous site hosts a variety of tours and ghost hunts throughout the year -- including a haunted attraction during the Halloween season.

The prison has also been featured in a slew of TV shows like "Ghost Hunters," "Ghost Adventures" and "The Scariest Places On Earth," but is probably most famous for its depiction in "The Shawshank Redemption."
