NORTHEAST OHIO -- The Ohio Department of Transportation will be working on Interstate 77 northbound and southbound starting at 5:30 p.m. tonight (Friday) and over the May 6-8 weekend.
- In Cleveland, Independence, Cuyahoga Heights and Newburgh Heights: from 5 :30 p.m. tonight (Friday) though 10 a.m. Sunday, crews will close one lane of I-77 north or southbound between Rockside and Granger Roads as crews perform milling and paving operations.
- On Saturday, May 7, crews will restrict the I-480 westbound ramp to I-77 southbound and the I-77 northbound ramp to I-480 westbound in order to perform milling and paving operations. Two lanes in each direction will be maintained during peak travel times. Overnight lane and ramp closures are expected. Motorists will be detoured via adjacent ramps.
- In Brecksville, crews closed multiple lanes of I-77 north or southbound today at Lacey Lane and those closures will stay in place through 6 a.m. Monday (May 9) to perform deck removal operations on Lacey Lane. Highland Drive and Snowville Road.
- Nightly lane closures are expected on I-77 north and southbound over the weekend between state Route 82 and the Ohio Turnpike from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. as work takes place on overhead bridges. The entire project replaces the overhead bridge decks along I-77 at Chestnut Road, Harris Road, Lacey Lane, Oakes Road, Valley Parkway, Highland Drive and Snowville Road.
