Case referee Harry Taich said in his ruling Monday that Dennis should be reinstated with back pay. There's no comment so far from the Coventry schools regarding the referee's ruling. Dennis began teaching at Erwine Middle School in the fall of 2002. In April 2003, some girls claimed he touched their buttocks during a three-night field trip to the Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center, in Bath Township. Girls also accused him of entering their dorm room and bathroom unannounced. The Cuyahoga Falls prosecutor dropped voyeurism and sexual imposition charges against Dennis. The Coventry school board voted in August to suspend Dennis without pay.
