Nashville is a 10-year-old Chihuahua mix who came to the APL from a hoarding situation.  He was called "big daddy" because it was thought he was the daddy of the many Chihuahuas found in that home.  Nashville was neutered at the APL and also received much needed medical care, including a teeth cleaning.  His new mom loved him and cared for him until her declining health caused her to have to move into a nursing home.  So Nashville came back to the APL.  But, as luck would have it, he was quickly adopted by a woman who works in a nursing home and takes him with her to work every day.  He loves visiting the residents and even has his own ID badge! Oh, and his new mom loves to knit clothes for the now-renamed, Dewey!
