LOS ANGELES -- The sharks will be bigger and the dialogue louder and you can bet audiences will be commenting when "Sharknado" is shown in theaters at midnight tonight.
This is for one night only.
In case you missed its initial airing on SyFy, "Sharknado" is about killer sharks that get sucked into a tornado and land in Los Angeles.
Despite its crazy concept, the film was a feeding frenzy on social media with 5,000 tweets per minute during its premiere.
Meanwhile, SyFy is going to be selling "Sharknado" merchandise.
Things like fashion tees, bags, posters, accessories and costumes.
There will also be "Sharknado" video games.
A partner with the producers says he wants to see "Sharknado" on every T-shirt, umbrella and chainsaw in America.
A "Sharknado" sequel is in the works for a 2014 release. This time, the sharks will chomp down on New York City.
