A.J. Ross joined WKYC in April 2013 as a multi-media journalist and reporter.
Prior to coming to the Channel 3 News Team, A.J. was a reporter in her hometown of Pittsburgh at WTAE-TV, while also working as a freelance reporter for the New Pittsburgh Courier newspaper.
A.J. is excited to return to the Buckeye State where she spent two years as a reporter and fill-in anchor at WSYX/WTTE-TV in Columbus, OH. While there she covered a wide range of stories from the Senate Bill 5 protests at the Ohio Statehouse to the Zanesville animal massacre.
A magna cum laude graduate of the Howard University John H. Johnson School of Communications, she got her start in television as a production assistant for ESPN in Bristol, CT. While there she got to travel and cover the 2007 NBA Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and San Antonio Spurs. After leaving ESPN, she got her first break on air as a reporter and anchor for WMBF-TV in Myrtle Beach, SC.
A proud member of Alpha Chapter Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc, A.J. loves to read, watch sports, and travel in her free time.
