CLEVELAND -- The Cleveland police Homicide Unit is investigating the death of a 17-year-old boy Tuesday.
At 6:30 p.m., a Fourth District officer heard a gunshot in the area of East 71st Street and Chambers Avenue and found the victim with a gunshot wound to the chest.
The teen was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he died.
The investigation shows that the victim and the suspect -- a black male in his late teens or early 20s -- were involved in a physical altercation leading to the suspect pulling a gun, police said.
