Two tropical storms in Atlantic Ocean

There are now two tropical storms located in the Atlantic Ocean as the peak of hurricane season quickly approaches.

Tropical Storm Ernesto, which is located a little more than 300 miles south of Puerto Rico, has maximum sustained winds of 60 miles per hours and is moving to the west at 18 miles per hour. The storm is forecast to keep moving west over the next couple of days.

Tropical Storm Florence is located 315 miles west of the Cape Verde Islands with maximum sustained winds near 40 miles per hour, moving to the west at 16 miles per hour. The storm is forecast to continuing moving west, slowing down, over the next few days.
