EASTLAKE -- Three docks and several boats were damaged after a hit-skip incident was reported on Tuesday. The damage may have occured early Tuesday or late Monday.
Police were called to the East Island Marina just after 1 p.m. Tuesday.
They saw there was damage to three docks and several moored watercraft.
The damaged docks are on the side of the channel that would be used if one were to be traveling up stream to the dead end.
Due to the boats being still in the water, police could not see the back of all the boats to check for other damage.
The boat owners were contacted by the marina owner and advised to report any damage to their vessels.
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Watercraft was also notified.
