San Antonio, TX (Sports Network) - Tim Duncan filled the stat sheet with 31
points, 14 rebounds and four blocks, and the San Antonio Spurs held on for a
99-97 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday.
Kawhi Leonard added 23 points for the Spurs, who moved a half-game ahead of
the idle Thunder for first place in the Western Conference. San Antonio
bounced back from a 100-88 loss to Oklahoma City on Thursday.
The Spurs played without guard Tony Parker due to a sore neck.
John Jenkins and Mike Scott ended with 23 and 22 points, respectively, for the
Hawks, who have lost three in a row and sit sixth in the Eastern Conference.
Johan Petro had a double-double with 11 points and 15 boards.
Atlanta has lost 15 straight against the Spurs in San Antonio.
