We have consulted the Great Pumpkin to find out if the dry summer means a shortage of the big orange gourds.

The Fall harvest season is right around the corner and it will soon be time to head out and find that perfect pumpkin for Halloween.

At Dussel's Farm in Brimfield, the pumpkins are still on the vine and look great.

The Dussel Farm lost their sweet corn crop to the drought and actually had to irrigate the pumpkins this summer, which was a first.

But despite the summer drought, there will be no shortage of pumpkins in our area.

Dussel's Farm tells us that the rain we've had recently has brought the pumpkins along and they have rebounded.

Their Fall Harvest Festival begins at the end of September and runs past Halloween into early November, so get out there and pick up your pumpkins.
