Teen facing multiple charges in alleged attack

CUYAHOGA FALLS -- An 18-year-old is facing several charges after he allegedly broke into a woman's home, tied her up and assaulted her.

Cuyahoga Falls Police say it was around 5:19 a.m. Sunday when officers responded to the scene on 3rd Street.

Upon their arrival, the female victim reported that a man she knew broke into her home through a side door, made death threats, and beat her to the point where she lost consciousness.

Police say she was tied up and several of her belongings had been taken.

She was taken to a local hospital where her condition is unknown.

The suspect, identified as Alexander Cooper, was caught by Stow Police a short time later.

Cooper is being held in jail awaiting arraignment in Stow Municipal Court on charges of attempted aggravated murder, kidnapping, aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary.
