YOUNGSTOWN -- Authorities say "disturbing evidence" has landed a 43-year-old woman behind bars on child pornography and rape charges.
Authorities say they began investigating Connie Ramirez after serving a search warrant at the home of a man in Niles.
On Tuesday, a search warrant was served at her residence in the 1700 block of South Meridian Road in Youngstown. That's where authorities seized several undisclosed items.
Ramirez, who was arrested by agents with Attorney General Mike DeWine's Crimes Against Children Unite, is currently in custody at the Mahoning County Jail on $500,000 bond.
She has been charged with rape, gross sexual imposition, pandering obscenity involving a minor and possession of criminal tools.
