MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS - Police are investigating after a fourth grader says strangers approached him as he got off a school bus.
The boy, a student at Big Creek Elementary in Berea, told police that two men in a red four-door car pulled up to him and offered him candy yesterday.
The child ran home and told his mother who then filed a police report. Police are looking for the car and the suspects.
Officers praise the boy for doing the right thing. They remind parents about the importance of talking to children about "stranger danger" and to be aware of their surroundings.
