CLEVELAND - "He stabbed me," was what 60-year-old Celeste Dicillo told building employees over the phone after she was stabbed Friday night.
Dicillo was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center where she is being treated for her injuries.
Officers say they followed the trail of blood from Dicillo's apartment to the suspect's apartment but the suspect wasn't in there. Police then looked at surveillance video and saw the suspect enter a second floor apartment.
Police checked that apartment and found Brandon Peacock in the bathroom. Police found him with a glass crack pipe and blood on his jeans. Police were able to find a shirt, shoes and a knife with blood on them in the building's trash chute.
