CLEVELAND -- Police have arrested a woman for stabbing her husband following an argument after returning from the bar.
Police responded to the West 89th Street home where they saw a car coming out of the driveway, then back into the driveway, pinning a woman between the house and the car.
When police ordered the driver out of they car, they found him covered in blood. He was placed in handcuffs and the car was moved, freeing the woman.
Police investigation reveals the married couple argued with each other on the way home from a bar.
The husband, Nicholas Taylor, 27, says his wife, Samantha Yonts, 26, was punching and slapping him. She also smashed things in the car.
When they arrived at home, Yonts locked her husband out of the house. She did eventually let him in, where she began to assault him again.
When Taylor attempted to leave, Yonts followed after him, stabbing him in the arm and leg. That's when the victim drove off until he saw police. He put the car in reverse and accidentally hit his wife.
Yonts refused medical treatment and was placed under arrest.
Taylor was treated at MetroHealth Medical Center and has since been released.
