CLEVELAND -- A fugitive called a 'serial burglar' by federal authorities was captured in an east side attic.
Darvell Smith, 20, was taken into custody Monday, exactly three weeks after being profiled as the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive of the Week. Smith was accused of targeting the elderly.
Authorities got a tip that Smith could be found hiding in a third-floor attic in a house in the 1800 block of Haldane Road, near Cleveland's Collinwood neighborhood.
