CLEVELAND -- Inspectors from the city's departments of health and building and housing inspected the house at 12205 Imperial Avenue on Aug. 30 where Anthony Sowell lived.

Based on the inspections, a condemnation notice was sent to the party responsible for the house.

According to court records supplied by the city of Cleveland, the responsible parties are Virginia Oliver of Shaker Heights, Financial Freedom Acquisition LLC of Austin and Cincinnati, and the estate of Segerna Sowell AKA Segrina Sowell..

The notice was mailed Sept. 7 and a 30-day notice was issued. The compliance date is October 2.

If compliance with the violation has not been achieved and an appeal of the notice has not been filed, the city's Department of Building and Housing will begin to process paperwork for its demolition.

Sowell, 52, was found guilty in July of the deaths of the 11 women and attacking three others.

On Aug. 13, Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Dick Ambrose sentenced him to die on Oct. 29, 2012, three years to the day that the first body was found in the house.
