WADSWORTH -- A homeowner has been arrested and charged with aggravated arson in connection with an October fire.
In October 2012, firefighters were called to the home on South Pardee Street in the early morning hours for a fire. For five hours, crews from Wadsworth, Rittman, Seville-Guilford and Sharon Township battled the blaze.
The State Fire Marshal investigated the fire in partnership with the Wadsworth Police Department. The case was presented to the grand jury and it returned an indictment against the homeowner, identified by police as Jill Tucker.
Detectives arrested Tucker on June 20 on a charge of aggravated arson. She remains in the Medina County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
