CLEVELAND -- Cleveland State University students are sounding off about Thursday's vice presidential debate.
Many students gathered at Fenn Tower, a residence hall on campus, to watch the debate.
Overall, students seemed to appreciate the general flow of the debate in comparison to last week's presidential debate. However, viewers did have their critiques.
"[Paul Ryan] had a good argument," said David Waring. "He had good stories backing up everything, but he didn't really have any logic behind it. No stats or anything like that."
Ryan's performance was a bit of a surprise to political science major Malek Khawan.
"Based on the questions, he did a better job than I expected," Khawan said. "He did hold his ground against Biden who came out swinging early."
