Solon police say South Russell woman confessed to thefts

SOLON -- Just before 11 a.m. Tuesday, police were called to Bed, Bath & Beyond at 6025 Kruse Drive for a report of employee theft.

Police spoke to the complainant, 44, who stated that they have been investigating thefts occurring from employees making false returns and stealing the money that was due the customer.

During the course of their investigation, it was determined that, on six separate occasions, Jennifer Osinski, 32, of South Russell processed returns for merchandise that was not returned and kept the money, totaling $1,293.87.

Police said Osinski wrote out a confession and was placed under arrest and charged with felony theft.
