CLEVELAND  --  Cleveland charged the filmmakers of the new Captain America movie more than $200,000 for filming in the city streets.

And nearly all of it has been paid.

The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer  reports that the city charged the filmmakers $211,430 for filming "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" there in May and June.

Production included closing city streets, including the busy West Shoreway, leading to many complaints from residents.

The biggest chunk of the bill was $163,432 for police.

The movie is Marvel's sequel to "Captain America: The First Avenger." It stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson and Sebastian Stan.
