TIFFIN -- Authorities say alcohol is believed to be a factor in a two-vehicle injury accident Monday night.
The Fremont Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 8:10 p.m. on State Route 53 near County Road 38.
It's reported that a northbound driver inside a 2007 Chevy Uplander lost control of his vehicle and struck a 1996 Chevy Tracker. The Tracker was then forced off the roadway and struck a utility pole.
The driver of the Tracker was taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center where his condition is unknown at this time.
The crash remains under investigation.
